The transmission of the car is not working properly. it jumps every time i press the gas pedal and jumps when the car is on the road.

While driving my 2011 chevrolet cruze lt when it gets t0 between 30-40 mph the rpms will go extremely high the check engine light will come on and the car will slow down as it is slowing down it will jerk into the lower gears if i don't put the car in neutral. since i don't have a reader for the check engine light i have to pull over and disconnect my battery to get that to shut off. i have to let my car engine/transmission cool down before driving again otherwise i will only make it eighth of a mile down the road and the same thing happens. i want this problem fixed. i officially hate my car because of this problem. makes me never want to buy a chevrolet again. i have seen may complaints of this happening to this year of car. this should be recalled and fixed free of charge.
My car needs 4 fuel injectors and gage was stuck open a driving hazard. oil has neen leaking around valve covers amd replaced but do smell burning time to time got coolamt leak fixed last year.
Have a 2011 chevy cruze that i bought a few years ago, from carmax. since i bought the car a few years ago, my car has always been very warm on the drivers side foot area, and where my leg rests there is a panel on the right of the gas peddle that is where the heat comes from. i have brought my car a few times to the dealership after i noticed how hot it got in that area. over 130f! (i gave up at this time,) last week, my wife had a small rear end crash on my car. nothing major but we took it to the body shop to get work on. when i brought the car in to them, i asked them if they can put some new insulation pipe on my car heat pipes, because the old ones were probably needing to be replaced. when the replaced it and my car was ready for pick up, they told me that they put the new insulation on it, but they showed me the old one. the old one was burnt and they said could have almost caught fire those pipes. along with the side panel was warping due to the amount of heat coming out of there. i told them at the time, that its a safety issue, but they said because my warranty is expired from years ago, they have to charge me for inspecting it, from there if they find a issue then we can discuss with gm what is the best way to handle to repairs and costs. (i told them i would get back to them about that.)
I have several issues with this car i have a mechanic looking at it now and i can give you a detailed report of every thing he finds wrong with it when he is done i do know that i loss engine power in the middle of the street while waiting to turn at a light

The interior door handle chrome peels and caused deep cut to finger.
I drove my 2011 chevrolet cruze to work without issue. upon leaving i started my my vehicle, put it in reverse and backed out of my parking spot but it would not drive forward. i had the vehicle towed to my home. the next day it would not start up entirely.
The key fob holding the key in the ignition broke, leaving the key in the ignition, unable to turn off or turn on the vehicle.
While driving the engine totally looses power and the entire car is shut off and comes to a stop. lots of electrical messages show up, and sometimes the key cannot come out of ignition. after an hour, sometimes it will restart. i have had it towed three times to the dealer. at first they thought it was the negative battery cable, but its still has the problem. starting to not be able to trust this car as its a hazard to drive not knowing when it will cut out and just stop with no power to even have windows roll up.
On october 19,2018 my in laws were traveling north on route 61 in pennsylvania. they can to a red light and ran into the back of a minivan and the airbags deployed. then we dont know what happened, but the car accelerated and went the length of a football field and they hit a pole and my mother in law died instantly and my father in law died at 5:10 am.my concern is why isn't it an industry standard that once the airbags are deployed the throttle doesn't shut down. if the throttle would have not worked they way still be alive.if you cant help me could you send me in the right direction.
Rolled down my drivers side window while at a stop light, it made a clicking noise and when i tried to roll it up, the window fell into the door. the window wouldn't roll back up and made more clicking noises when i tried to roll it up

Chrome is peeling on interior door handles leaving razor sharp edges. unsuspecting passengers or driver can be seriously cut by the material. this is especially dangerous to children exiting the car.

Takata recall, i have a 2011 chevy cruze. my turbo is having underboost failure and needs replaced. i can no longer increase speed while driving on the road to pass cars or go up hills, i have seen several other chevy cruzes with the same year been recalled for the same problem. when i typed my vin number in nothing popped up. so why doesn't my car qualify ?
After awhile of owning my vehicle i noticed my ac/heater blower began to stop blowing out of my vents, and it only blows out of the defrost vent. with the blower on my windows become very fogged and hard to see. i took it to a repair center and found out that it would end up costing me $1000 to fix a $15 piece. with having to remove my entire dash. they told me it was a lever of some sort and there is no other way to get to it.
The hose that connects to the coolant for the ac system always breaks and the heating and cooling stops working, this is unsafe because it may cause overheating of the engine if not repaired.
Takata recall, transmission failure, car not shifting into gears. driving on city street at a stop light and the car would not advance forward, i had to physically push it off to the side of the road to let traffic pass. car will not advance in forward or reverse.

Cars heat does not heat up, blows out cold air. it is always one click above cold when in motion, when sitting still it will heat up 2 clicks above cold. this is a problem on this car and there are many complaints. the problem does not seem to be fixable, even when replacing the the heater core or wiring.
Noticed i was losing coolant rapidly, full tank within 1-2 days, only driving about 7 miles to work and back. . took to dealership (where purchased) and they determined engine coolant leaking from faulty water pump. thought the issue would be covered by gm extended warranty because already existing special coverage bulletin 14371a, existed for this issue in 1.4l engine, ...but not for the 1.8l engine, which is what i own. the water pump in the 1.4l is the exact same part in the 1.8l engine, so i'm lead to believe that the water pump in my vehicle should have been covered due to it being a faulty part, in general. water pump was replaced and have experienced no more leakage. i am unable to attach the service invoice from mckinleyville chevrolet and buick, but can provide hard copy.
I parked my car in a parking lot to go into a store and when i came back immediately after i started it under the hood there was a lot of smoke even after i turned it off there was still smoke everywhere.
I just purchased this car, used. i went to start it, it worked perfectly fine. i went to start it again later in the evening ( 7 hours only from when i bought it ) and it would not start, lights worked but it would not start. eventually whatever is wrong with it began to get it worse and now it won't start, and nothing will work. the key is also stuck in the ignition. again, only had this car less than 12 hours. the vehicle was stationary.
In the last 4 months my tracking control, stability traction control, and reduce engine power light stays on. i have had knock censor replaced, value covers but nothing has worked. my car constantly cuts off in in the middle of traffic and three times on the freeway at 65 miles. the car is very unsafe and yet there are no recalls on my car.
I have had work down on the air conditioner in this automobile three (3) times. the chevy cruze is the worse car every made.
Steering rod issue, steering wheel feels loose while driving especially when on the highway over 50 mph . several issues with coolant/ car overheating/ overheated and gauge flew rapidly to hot, driving about 40 mph and had to pull over and turn off car - call tow truck. this happened twice, supposedly fixed but still smells of burning oil. drive side windshield stopped working while driving about 65 mph on busy highway -possible problem with the motor because the other one works fine. all very dangerous issues.
Accident, on jan 15 2017, vehicle was turning into a restaurant parking lot from a highway and hit by a f150 pickup on the front end and whole passenger side, going about 15 mph and other vehicle was traveling 50mph, none of the 10 air bags deployed, have shoulder injury 3 days following accident, vehicle was towed to collison, shop & was made aware that the frame of the vehicle from front end to rear was shattered, the vehicle was moving and turning into a business, the insurance company deemed that the vehicle was totaled. no air bags ever deployed, if there were a passenger they would have died.
It's takes long for the gears to change get stuck on gears smells like gas i. the car and had it in park and started to roll back with out starting the car in the city and in the highway acts the same
I have atf leaking from the crimped end of a rubber line going to the metal line for the transmission.
Transmission.
The car has a burning electrical smell. sometimes we can smell the odor in the cabin, but mostly coming from the engine after we have finished driving the car and walk around the front of the car. the odor has been present since we purchased the car in november 2016.
Transmission is kicking while driving, especially when in reverse but also while forward. also while in reverse the car will go forward instead. does this every time it is driven, even while turning. mechanic said it is the actual transmission causing the problem.
My car hesitate sometime during driving at low speed or high speed and the stabili trak light appear, the check engine light stays on even when i have replaced the part needed..
After having other recalls with this vehicle, now there is a transmission fluid leak directly after the warranty expired. this was discovered at the dealership when "check engine" light was on due to evap vent valve needing replaced. shottenkirk chevrolet stated the transmission fluid leak repair will cost $1,380.00
Burning smell from engine. back in may 2016 i started smelling this burning smell after you drove the car for 20 mins. i bring it up to the dealer every time i have to take the car in. they can never find the source. they thought a oil pan leak was it. that was fixed and the smell still is there. they claimed to find an oil leak another time and fixed. then it was a transmission leak, which was fixed and still the smell. there is never fluid under the car. i have the smell noted every time.
Possible electrical problems. dash board randomly lights up; radio has gone completely off; steering wheel difficult to turn; security lock out engaged once; traction control came on and hard to steer and several occasions. this incidents are happening randomly and had near miss on highway not expecting the steering to lock up or become extremely difficult. this has happened over last several months. independent car repair shop could not find anything, but still happens.
My a/c condenser was hit by a rock and the dealer said it's not covered under warranty. but i know there is a tsb #10461 about the a/c condenser.
Drove about 45 miles and parked vehicle. noticed engine fan running hard, shut off vehicle and went into store. returned to vehicle twenty minutes later turned on car, fan still running hard. pushed onstar button to get diagnostic check. engine error code found, advised to take to dealer to investigate. started vehicle about ten minutes into drive, could smell coolant from engine and vehicle slowed and chimes came on with dash reading: engine overheated stop car and turn off engine. had towed to dealer, they say a port is cracked in cylinder head and coolant leaking. will cost $500 to fix. vehicle has 59,000 miles. also engine makes popping noises after running on highway and come to a complete stop. sitting at light or stop sign and it pops four or five times. don't hear it when i'm driving. these cars are lemons, gm needs to recall them and give us our money back!
When purchasing my auto 2011 chevrolet cruze i was not told that this 2011 chevrolet cruze had a coolant leak that the company could not repair. before i purchased my 2011 chevrolet cruze a guarder plate was installed too keep the leak from burning off of the motor and no repair to stop the coolant leak. my 2011 chevrolet cruze over heated and i was sent a letter that chevrolet company would replace the coolant once it get low. i told them that this coolant is also inside the cab of my 2011 chevrolet cruze and they said that i would be charged to have my 2011 chevrolet cruze checked for reason of leak but once coolant is leaked out or low they would replace it. this chemical is a labeled 'a' poison for humans within it's label. which i have had those affects from it's release at this point. i cannot get chevrolet to fix this and they said that they'll not fix it just replace coolant just for 2016 after then they'll not replace leaked coolant. i asked them if i could have the 2011 chevrolet cruze checked without having a service charge and i was told i could not that i'll be charged a fee. i was offered a $2000.00 voucher to purchase another auto. being once stress of over heating or correct levels of coolant withing vehicle coolant functioning components cannot operate normally i'd have to replace those components and if not under components warranty i'll be charged service visit and parts and labor rendered. i mentioned that this coolant chemical burn off is causing sight effects and that it continues sending those chemical coolant fums into the cab of the vehicle and i'm taking medication for those sight effects of the coolant's chemical burn off. again (general motors corporation legal agent said that's the legal offer and if not agreed active case file would be closed. on 3/10/2015 my case file closed with no resolution.
The chrome plating on both the front driver and passenger interior door handles started to peel off which created sharp edges on the handles in which i and others have cut ourselves on. i had to chip some of the chrome plating off and wrap the handles with tape to prevent myself and my kids from getting cut on the peeling chrome finish.
My car has a check engine light and i took it to dealer they do not know what the code is, its p057c and i was driving on highway going 70 and car all of a sudden loses power went from 70mph to 5mph in a split second almost got rear ended by a semi truck i am afraid to drive my car for my safety. dealer wants hundreds of dollars just to try and figre out the issue but after diagnostic they still have no clue. so thir plan was to dissect my car like a science project and maybe fix it. they want the car for a week and do not offer any loaner cars. chevrolet northridge dealership california. today 03/04/16 driving to work going 40mph and get to a red light, it turned green i hit the gas and the car just revs and wont go more than 5pmh . i had to pull over and turn car on and off 2 times before i could get to work. and got there late because of this. and again almost got rear ended. i press the gas and the car revs as if it is idling. please make this a recall and help get this fixed. its going to be a reason why a driver loses their life. this is a true emergency since it just feels like the car has a mind of its own. and dealer does not know what to do. please please help!
Takata recall. i drive a 2011 chevrolet cruze with approximately 57000 miles. last week i was driving in traffic when the car suddenly began to lose power. on my dashboard notice center the message "engine power reduced" flashed. the car lost acceleration and became very difficult to control. i was surrounded by traffic and very lucky i did not get hit as i managed to get it to coast into a parking lot. this is a very dangerous situation. after doing online research i was shocked to see the number of people that this has happened to. unfortunately it seems to happen after the 50,000 mile mark on these vehicles and usually after the warranty expires
Transmission problems.
On 12-5-15 i was on my way to ct from mass and was on 91. about 45 minutes into the trip the car began to loose power and the check engine light came on and the service stablitrack light came on. as soon as the light came on the temperature gauge and rpm gauge would fling up and down quickly! i immediately went from 65 mph to 30 mph.( i was almost rear ended by a car behind me) i coasted my way to the right lane and was able to get off the exit. the car took about 4 hours to go back to normal. ( i returned to mass, i had to take the back way home and avoid the highway as the car still had reduce speed) the car will return to normal and the check engine light will go off. everyday now the check engine light will come on and it will say service stablitrack. the car immediately looses power and you can hear the engine (sounds like a fan blowing hard) the transmission will not shift. the rpm will jump to 4-5 while only getting to a speed of 35 mph. the dealer has no idea what i am talking about. this car was bought in january of 2015 and has less than 65,000 miles on it. i have read a few complaints about this similar situation happening to the same car i have. this is a safety issue!!! the car has been serviced on time!!! please help me!! i refuse to take the highway as i never know when this is going to happen.....
Hvac creates a noxious odor when running heat. notice it mostly in a foot/defrost mode. reports are either leaking heater core or hvac system grease in my research. irritation of nose and throat results, does not seem to be dependent on speed. notice it more when starting car when still warm, also while standing for some time in gear then accelerating.
When the cabin heating system is activated in cool/cold weather.(the temp setting indicator to max heat and the car engine is at the normal operating range). there is a burnt rubber smell or exhaust smell that comes out of the ventilation system. the dealer has been unable to find the cause. the smell will go away if the temp setting is reduce to the cold side of the scale (ie the blue line and not the red line). i have read of other complaints about this same issue but did not find it on this site. in the worst case this may be co leaking into the cabin or it could be related to some rubber like component off-gasing because of the hot air. this happens when the car is moving or standing still, but the engine must be in the normal operating temp range as shown on the temp gauge. this has occur every year since i bought the car.
I was injured in accident.... hit a stationary vehicle.... there's significant damage to my vehicle...my airbags did not deploy... i am suffering from a severe cervical strain, severe neck sprain with inflation causing severe headaches, a severe upper and lower back sprain with inflammation casing pressure on my sciatic nerve... i cannot lift, bend , stand , sit, lie down for long periods of time, i even have to have help just too bathe.. i believe that had deployed... my injuries were not have been so severe.
Car has constantly been slow in shifting gears when in automatic
