WHAT:
From vintage classics to sports cars, Up The Creek Grill (Up The Creek) will host automobiles of all types on Nov. 1 at its first “CreekCruisin’ Car Show.”
For $20, anyone can enter a car for the chance to win one of 15 $100 gift certificates, a set of wheels donated by Discount Tire Co., four $25 certificates to Up The Creek and five $20 certificates to Sport Clips. The top 15 cars selected by the judges will receive trophies.
Up The Creek will provide all show registrants with a 20-percent-off coupon for its restaurant and will donate $5 from each person’s fee to Jesse’s House Emergency Children’s Shelter in Cumming, Ga.
Attendees who come to check out the “rides” will have the chance to win prizes through a raffle, and can enjoy cookout favorites hot off the grill - including hot dogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers and chicken sandwiches - while listening to the sounds of oldies and classic rock.
Up The Creek specializes in seafood, steaks and pasta. From specialty dishes like Shrimp & Lobster Fondue and Seafood Pasta Imperial to more traditional favorites with a special flair, like Coconut Shrimp and Filet Mignon, Up The Creek has something for everyone.

This family-friendly event is a great way to spend a Saturday admiring elegant classic cars and kick-start the summer season. The town of Hartwell is located on beautiful Lake Hartwell in NE Georgia – right off I-85. You would take Exit 177, which is the last exit in Georgia - before you enter South Carolina.
