We will be offering plaques for the 10 Best of Show, and invite car enthusiasts to join us and show off their autos. We will have a variety of bands entertaining, food and merchandise vendors, and door prizes throughout the day. We offer supervised children's activities with bouncy houses, etc., and lots of fun for the whole family. The car show is Saturday only, but owners are welcome to park on Friday night and stay for a great concert by GO DEEP band from the Nashville area, and fireworks over the water. Activities will take place on the 35 acre grounds of THAT Church on North Bus 45 in Corsicana, Texas. Black-eyed Pea Restaurants is hosting the first annual North Garland Community Auto festival, August 23rd, 2008. This event is being held to raise money for charity. B.A.C.A. (Biker Against Child Abuse) and G.F.O. Garland Family Outreach are two non profit organizations that help out children in crisis situations. Its going to be hot but there will be refreshments, games, a dunking booth, Harley Davidson Bike Wash, cool cars, trucks, bikes and choppers. Mayor Ronald Jones is expected to attend.
