Keyless door entry unlock fails. the outer handle has faulty wiring with many cars sent in for replacement and no recall performed yet. in this instance, the door lock failing can lock the driver in the car during an accident or fire and, if the person is unresponsive due to the accident, someone on the exterior of the car cannot enter through the drivers door. this poses a significant safety risk that has yet to be addressed. through my research, it commonly affects 2005 & 2006 cadillac sts model cars with the keyless entry & keyless ignition. *tr
