Problems with 2007 BMW 335 ENGINE

Car caught fire parked in the driveway. battery charger was connected. unknown cause of what started the fire. car had approximately 152,000 miles. association to recall 17v676000.

Tl* the contact owned a 2007 bmw 335. while driving 55 mph, an abnormal odor drifted through the air vents and the vehicle caught on fire. the contact was able to pull the vehicle over to the side of the road. the contact stated that the fire was coming from the engine compartment. the local fire department extinguished the fire and a police report was filed. there were no injuries; however, the contact inhaled smoke. the vehicle was not taken to a dealer or independent mechanic for diagnostic testing or repairs. the vehicle was towed to a tow lot and deemed a total loss. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure. the failure mileage was 130,000.

High pressure fuel pump & vacuum lines tank 1 & 2 failures. turbocharger & waste gate failure as well, fuel sending units developed hairline fractures that cause fuel to leak on exhaust manifold likely to case a fire was told not to drive car luckily the mechanic notice the leakage. no more need to to say, you guys are aware of this do some about it please! i never purchase a bmw ever again!
