Good evening, you wonderful petrolhead! Ever found yourself squinting down the road, lamenting the dim glow of your 2006 Acura RSX's headlights? Well, despair no more! Today, I'll teach you to swap that tired old headlight bulb for a shiny new one. And, in typical Clarkson fashion, with all the drama and grandeur of a slow-motion car crash, minus the crash, of course.
Ensure your Acura is safely parked. If you don’t, you might just find it's dashed off to get a packet of crisps while you weren't looking.

Locate the cover on the side of the headlight. A little slide and poof! It's off. A bit like one of ill-fated challenges, except this one actually works.

Inside, there are tiny rubber tabs. Remember, for the left headlight, it's the bulb all the way to the left and vice versa for the right. They might seem insignificant, but so does James May's hair, and look where that's gotten him.

First order of business: unplug that stubborn bugger. Locate the plug. Give it a good tug and watch as it yields to your power.
You’ll now face the rubber gasket. Mighty and grand, this big chappy has pull tabs. Extricate it with dignity and poise.

Behold, the metal spring! Push and unclip. With the grace of a gazelle, push it away. The headlight bulb will reveal itself.

Out with the old, in with the new. But, please, be gentle with the newcomer. No fingerprints. Slide it in, ensuring everything aligns perfectly.
Position the bulb correctly and re-engage that fiddly metal spring. It's a bit like wrangling a hyperactive hamster – tricky, but rewarding.

The rubber gasket returns to the arena. First, ensure a good seal around the light. It doesn't have a preference for direction – much like James May picking a favourite shoe. Work it all the way around. Give it a good 'push, push, push'.
And there you have it! You've successfully changed the headlight bulb on your 2006 Acura RSX. Go on, give yourself a pat on the back or better yet, take a spin and marvel at the world now brightly lit before you. Cheers!
