This is an auto show to benefit the burned children in Mississippi. All profits will go directly to support the Mississippi Burn Camp Foundation. Please come and help the burned children of mississippi
Twizted Conceptz, Inc. will host a car, truck, and bike show with sound competition. Trophies will be given to all makes and models of vehicles. It will be held at the state tax commission building in downtown Brandon. The time is 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Registration begins at 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
No late registration. $20 for nonmembers and $10 for members.
September 12 Columbus, MS “Cruisin the River” 18th Annual Pride & Joy Cruise an open car show, including street rods, muscle cars, trucks, tuners, classics, motorcycles or bring whatever you have we like cars, presented by the Southern Cruisers at the Lock & Dam, East Bank, Columbus. Registration 8:00 till 12:00, on site fee of $25. Pre-registration $20, 2nd car $15. Kick off Party on September 11 in the pavilion at the same location beginning at 6:00pm. More fun races and more cash in 2009. Cash will be awarded for all races, poker walk, money tree, 50/50 pot. Trophies will be awarded for best overall 1st and 2nd in categories; other trophies will be presented for 10 specialty categories including rat rods and “Killers” 40. The races arte considered a highlight, which include Gravity Slow, Commode, Valve Cover, Wheel Chair, and Grapefruit races. The Gravity Slow is staged on a hill with a stop light start. The overall winner receives cash and then races the winner in 2008 for the King of Hill trophy and the presentation of the winner’s name, his car and club name in the Cruisin the River flyer for 2009 in the hall of Fame.
