The Baltimore County Corvette Club is again celebrating DAD’S with an all Car, Truck & Hot Rod Show on Saturday, June 20 2009, 1p-7p, $20 (Registration begins @ 8a). The show will be again at Security Square Mall, 6901 Security Blvd, Baltimore, MD 21244. We will be giving out top three places for each Corvette Class (C1-C6) with special awards to be judged for best modified, best stock, best paint, best interior and largest club participation (registered) in separate car, truck, hotrod classes. A separate Corvette Classes will be recogonized. Goody bags, music and so much more. Lots of fun with show specials on new and used Vettes, vendors and more.

All entrants must also provide non-perishable food item or cash donation to the Southern Maryland Food Bank on event day. Trophies will be awarded! Food vendor, D.J., Ronald McDonald at the show. Afternoon driving tour for antique “orphan” (discontinued-make) vehicles, with visits to two private car collections along the tour route. Sponsored by local Packard, Hudson, Studebaker, AMCRC and DeSoto clubs. Meet at American Legion, 4600 Legion Lane, 12 Noon to 1:00 PM. Cars released on tour between 1 – 1:30 PM. VFW Post 8185 Port Deposit Fall Classic Car Show

Location Information: Port Deposit, Maryland Car show is located right off the Susquehanna River in the parking lot of the V.F.W.. Boating & fishing is close by. Car Show registration starts at 10am. $10 pre-registration by September 13th, / $13 day of show.( Rain date September 27) Spectators are free. Awards given after ballots are counted. 8 classes of vehicles. 16 Trophies plus 1 Best of Show and, new this year, V.F.W. Post 8185 Commander’s Choice Award. Voting is 50% registered vehicles and 50% spectators. All vehicles of interest are welcome: Street Rods, Classics, Trucks, Customs, Pro-Street. Dash plaques given to first 40 cars registered!!! Price includes 1 free hot dog and 1 free soda or beer. Lots of Door Prizes, Raffles & 50/50. Refreshments and food available. Music provided by DJ. Entertainment in the V.F.W. Includes 2 pool tables and 5 slot machines, plus wide screen TV to watch sports,etc. and a juke box. The VFW is a non-profit charity which supports our veterans and also local charities, including scholarship programs for local high schools.
