April 19TH and 20TH 2008 at the Prince William County Fairgrounds in Manassas Virginia. This a Top 50 Show with 11 car and truck show classes and two bike classes. 5 Best of Show Trophies, 6 Club Participation Trophies and 5000 dollars in prizes.
John W. Rice President of the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) Appalachian Region announced today: The first annual – “Cruising to The Border Car Show†to take place in Bristol, Virginia on Saturday April 19th 2008 10AM to 3PM at the State Street location of TriSummit Bank parking area just across from the historic Bristol train station. Rice says that the event which is co-sponsored by TriSummit Bank and Downtown merchants will be a fund raiser for the United Way of Bristol. Cars 25 years old and older will compete for awards and trophies while the public can see and enjoy the cars of yesterday. Contact AACA for entry form @ 423-360-2767 Admission for spectators will be free however; any donations to United Way of Bristol will be appreciated. (note: rain date will be April 26th)

Front Royal’s Skyline Caverns will be the site of an all-Hudson car show and flea market on Sunday morning, May 11 from 8 A.M. to 12 P.M. Between 50 and 70 antique vehicles are expected and the public is admitted, free. The Caverns are located In case of rain the show moves to the Front Royal Fire Hall, 221 N. Commerce Ave. The show caps the annual “Doc’s Apple Blossom Meet”, a 3-day event for Hudson, Essex and Terraplane car enthusiasts that runs from May 9 to 11. Come to the 8th Annual Car & Cycle Show hosted by Roanoke Valley Cathedral of Praise on Saturday, September 19, 2009. Registration is from 8:00 am – 12:00 noon. Judging is from 9:30 am – 1:30 pm. Awards will be given out at 3:00 pm. There are many different classes to register for, check our website for a complete list. Great awards such as Car Club, Best of Show, Pastor’s Choice, People’s Choice, and 1st and 2nd place per class will be given out to a lucky few(Non-Affiliated Judges!). For the first 125 registrants there are Dash Plaques! There will be face painting, moonwalk, puppets and balloons for the kids. Great food and drinks (breakfast & lunch), and entertainment will be available. Also there will be Swap Meet and Swap Meet Car Corral! Pre-registration until September 12: $15 donation. Registration after September 12th: $20 donation. Swap Meet and Swap Meet Car Corral registration: $20 per space.
